Res. 26, a resolution disapproving the Environmental Protection Agency's imposition of climate regulations that would harm Alaska's economy and the livelihoods of the state's citizens, was read the second time. Senator Ellis moved and asked unanimous consent that the resolution be advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered. CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 49(RES) was read the third time. The question being: "Shall CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 49(RES) Urging the United States Congress to enact S.J. Res. 26, a resolution disapproving the Environmental Protection Agency's imposition of climate regulations that would harm Alaska's economy and the livelihoods of the state's citizens, pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHJR 49(RES) Third Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 19 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 1 Yeas: Bunde, Coghill, Davis, Dyson, Egan, Ellis, French, Hoffman, Huggins, Kookesh, McGuire, Menard, Meyer, Paskvan, Stedman, Stevens, Thomas, Wagoner, Wielechowski Absent: Olson and so, CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 49(RES) passed the Senate, was signed by the President and Secretary and returned to the House.
